| | I stayed on the first night of the 2006 operating season (as advertised) and was really impressed. The campground, bath houses, and laundry facilities were very clean and modern. I was travelling in a 37' Class A and had site #1. The outer sites look to be the best for larger rigs - even though the pull throughs are in the middle, several large trees look like they would make it difficult to get a good postion on the site. No real activities, but a nice quiet place that is close to downtown Altoona and it's activities. Would definately stay again |

A glorious spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Wright's Orchard Station Campground is Bobs Creek; Duncansville Reservoir is a good lake close by. Wright's Orchard Station Campground is a place with many visitors from Duncansville, and you can run the rapids of Little Conemaugh River.
