Wright's Orchard Station Campground, Pennsylvania Custom Search   I stayed on the first night of the 2006 operating season (as advertised) and was really impressed. The campground, bath houses, and laundry facilities were very clean and modern. I was travelling in a 37' Class A and had site #1. The outer sites look to be the best for larger rigs - even though the pull throughs are in the middle, several large trees look like they would make it difficult to get a good postion on the site. No real activities, but a nice       quiet place that is close to downtown Altoona and it's activities. Would definately stay again the next time we're in town. There are 100 acres of skiable terrain at Blue Knob, 40% of the runs are demanding; those are the ones the skilled skiers love the most. 60% of the runs at Blue Knob are green and blue and well suited for little ones and beginners.
