Near Woodland Campground you locate the Big Ridge Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and there's wonderful hiking along the Pine Springs Trail. A trip to Sinnemahoning State Park rejuvenates the soul, and wonderful
| hiking is available along the Number Five Trail. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Woodland Campground. Anderson Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you'll meet a lot of people from Woodland here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Woodland Campground a wet location; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. on Clearfield Creek; S.B. Elliott State Park is a good site. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. This is really a magnificent campground. A delightful site for whitewater paddling close to Woodland Campground is Mosquito Creek, and going
for a hike on the Quehanna Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Throughout the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Woodland Campground with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Woodland Campground through
the wintertime usually fall into the 10's. Don't forget to take a splendid little journey to Sulphur Run, and you can go for a hike on the Black Bear Trail.
