| | folks of Woodland like to hang out nearby; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clearfield Creek. The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer. Near Woodland Campground you stumble on the Quehanna Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. At Woodland Campground during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. are pleasant spots to look at along the Number Five Trail, and don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Sulphur Run. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. The Big Ridge Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to
Woodland Campground, and when you're here it's always fun to go to S.B. Elliott State Park. Don't leave Woodland Campground without first going for a hike along the Pine Springs Trail, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is Mosquito Creek. This is in fact a nice campground.
Going for a hike on the Black Bear Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Sinnemahoning State Park is a brilliant location to stretch your legs a bit. Anderson Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lakes are good; Emigh Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood
of Woodland Campground. Woodland Campground sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout June this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
