Summertime highs at Walker Campground generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Walker Campground. This is a nice campground.

Par 3 Golf Course is always a pleasure. A campground like this is too nice to miss. Take a side visit to Doe Run, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kishacoquillas Creek. Hey, you've been indoors for too long, time to get out, and Walker Campground is a fine local campground
if you happen to be in Pennsylvania.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Yohn Trail, and Tussey Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. Hiking along the Round Trail is perfect fun, and do take a hike on the Middle Ridge Trail. There are some brilliant whitewater
spots on Elk Creek; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Mifflintown for sure.
Walker Campground is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January.
