| | Sciota here, and don't leave The Camp At East Lake without first going for a hike along the Camelback Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to The Camp At East Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at The Camp At East Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to The Camp At East Lake. If time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit. but if it's for you then we recommend Brodhead Creek; hiking is a popular thing to do around The Camp At East Lake; Burley Inlet Trail is a nice local trail.
The Camp At East Lake gets lots of water; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile
is the driest month. Good hiking is available along the Lakeside Trail; wonderful skiing awaits you at Camelback. This is such a fun location for a campground. The Camp At East Lake is not the only spot nearby, Indian Spring Run Pond is a nearby lake, and don't miss out on a spree
to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor while you're here.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Snow Shanty Trail, and unsurprisingly Kettle Creek flows through this neighborhood. This campground is a beautiful location to go to. There are some good whitewater spots
on Paradise Creek; a round of golf at nearby Evergreen Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. Be careful coming to The Camp At East Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There are brilliant spots to discover along the Indian Trail, and spots like Tobyhanna State
Park are glorious to have a look at.
If you come at the right time of year, Pocono Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and Big Pocono State Park is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit.
