| | of those things you just must do, and do stop at Meylert Creek if you're here at The Camp At East Lake. Meshoppen Creek is a splendid whitewater spot near The Camp At East Lake, and unsurprisingly, everyone loves Chenango Valley State Park. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Spring Brook. At The Camp At East Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawanna River, and Lackawanna State Park is a great spot.
