for a hike on the Big Sandy Trail is always a great adventure, and Sinnemahoning State Park is a charming spot any time of year. Near Snow Shoe Park you come across the Dead Horse Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and why not head up to Tussey Mountain and strap some skis
to your feet.
The fine local attractions and such an incredible array of things to do are great incentives to come. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Stinktown Run; wonderful hiking is available along the Rock Hollow Trail. This part of Pennsylvania is always a bliss
to go to through camping season.
This is really a splendid campground. You can run the rapids of Black Moshannon Creek in the vicinity of Snow Shoe Park, and you'll meet a lot of people from Snow Shoe here. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so most likely you want to stay a while.
