  All the water falling down from the sky makes Scenic Riders a wet place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't leave Scenic Riders without visiting Cook Forest State Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Canoe Creek. Many folks stay at this campground in order to be near Cook Forest State Park.
The pleasant folks working here and the splendid massive amount of fun activities have folks coming from far and
    wide. Pennsylvania has scores of outdoors activities. There's such a vast number of things to do in close proximity to Scenic Riders, and when you're here you're always having a great time.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A pleasant spot like
Oil Creek State Park in the neighborhood of Scenic Riders is too glorious to leave out. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Scenic Riders with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Scenic Riders dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Lakes are great; Piney Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Scenic Riders, and don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Toby Creek.
If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's fishing, swimming,
 
hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen.
Scenic Riders is esteemed by folks in Clarion. Such a great choice of attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently.
The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. At Scenic Riders you always meet someone from Clarion, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Cherry Run. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Deer Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Scenic Riders; Hunter Run Trail is a perfect local trail. Finally, camping time is here once more, and Scenic Riders in Pennsylvania is a great place to go.
