Licking Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by; a spree to Appalachian National Scenic Trail is recommended. A trip to Saunderosa Park wouldn’t be complete without   a tour to close by Cacapon State Park, and going for a hike along the Richmond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail is rather in close proximity to Saunderosa Park, and Saunderosa Park is right by the Lockard Trail. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Whitewater paddling is fine on Sleepy Creek, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the King Trail. Saunderosa Park is liked by campers from Mercersburg. Some activities here at Saunderosa Park are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
