Lots of fun is at this campground. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Sacony Park Campgrounds called the Buzzard
Trail, and Tuscarora State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit. For the period of the summertime highs here at Sacony Park Campgrounds get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures
at Sacony Park Campgrounds dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Going for a hike along the Pinnacle Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; an afternoon playing golf at Berkleigh Country Club is always a joy. Life's too short to enjoy all the
exciting things in the neighborhood of Sacony Park Campgrounds. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Bear Creek; this is a popular place for folks from Bowers. It's totally impossible to get bored in Pennsylvania if you go for the outdoors.
