| | Some of the things you can do here at Refreshing Mountain Camp are hiking, fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Pennsylvania has such a vast number of things to offer nature lovers.
You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Blue Marsh; you can go for a hike on the Foxs Path. At Refreshing Mountain Camp enjoyable stuff to do is plentiful, and when you're here you're always having a tremendous time.

of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. All the jolly people and the brilliant quality of everything here will make you feel wonderful. Locust Lake State Park is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Blue
| Blazed Trail.
That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Refreshing Mountain Camp has it all. Refreshing Mountain Camp is not the only site close by, Middle Creek Reservoir is a close by lake, and there are plenty of folks from Newmanstown here. This is such a fine campground. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Susquehanna River, and going for a hike on the Werts Path is always a fine adventure. Tuscarora State Park is a picturesque location any time of year; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Elders Run.

Creek Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here; a golf course close by is West View Golf Course. This campground is so fine. If you're here at Refreshing Mountain Camp and you like golf, you can go to Foxchase Golf Club, and delightful hiking is available along the Klines
Path. The high level of rainfall makes Refreshing Mountain Camp a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls during July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Fishing Creek - Susquehanna Tributary. When was the last occasion you went camping? Refreshing Mountain Camp in Pennsylvania is the outdoors at its best.
Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Muddy Creek - Susquehanna
Tributary, and don't leave Refreshing Mountain Camp without first going for a hike along the Northkill Path.
Summertime highs at Refreshing Mountain Camp usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Refreshing Mountain Camp dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
