While you're here at Redbank Valley Municipal Park you will meet lots of folks from nearby Hawthorn, and if you come at the right time of year, Cowanshannock Creek offers some glorious whitewater. |

There's a lot of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
This campground is so nice. A lake nearby is Mahoning
Creek Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Deer Creek. Cook Forest State Park is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit. Pine Creek is right next door to Redbank Valley Municipal Park and is always a joy to stop by, and float
down the rapids of Mahoning Creek in a kayak.
Get your sleeping bag packed and get your wheels rolling; Redbank Valley Municipal Park in Pennsylvania is a really great spot to spend some time.
