Park Away Park, Pennsylvania   Park Away Parks was sold.? The Campground was torn down.? Property is for sale. Says Herman Park Away Park is right by the Rattling Run Trail, and a good view of pretty Wickersham Hill is available. The caring reception and the skillfully kept up facilities are a splendid draw for a lot of people. Having a great time at Park Away Park is simple. Ski Roundtop has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; a spree to Gifford Pinchot State Park revives the spirit. Park Away Park is enormously popular with visitors from Etters. This is a delightful campground.     Hiking along the Water Tank Trail is wonderful fun, and a round of golf at nearby Dauphin Highlands Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. The amount of rainfall that falls at Park Away Park is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air; Park Away Park in Pennsylvania is a really nice location to spend some time. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver Creek, and get drenched paddling on Codorus Creek. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stick around for a while. The splendid choice of local attractions,   and all the outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back repeatedly. Going for a hike along the Victoria Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and not far from Park Away Park you'll come across Silver Lake which is a stunning lake. Scores of people stay at this campground when they come to stop at Gifford Pinchot State Park. This sector of Pennsylvania is always a delight to explore during camping season. Everybody loves Patapsco Valley State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Park Away Park; Darlington Trail is a great local trail. Through the summer months at Park Away Park temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Park Away Park. It's completely out of the question to run out of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Park Away Park; to be at this campground is always fun. So much fun stuff near Park Away Park, absolutely phenomenal. This campground is so delightful. Whitewater paddling is good on Conewago Creek - East; Valley Green Golf Course is a wonderful golf course close by. During your journey to Park Away Park you'll meet some people from Etters for sure, and the Horseshoe Trail offers hiking at its best.
