Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Mountain Vista Campground. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. | Mountain Vista Campground you get some great water scenery at Kings Dam.
There are some great whitewater spots on Brodhead Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Great Bear Golf and Country Club is always a delight. The helpful operators of the campground and scores of amusing things to do have folks coming from far and near.

This is beyond doubt a tremendous campground. Going for a hike along the Camp Biff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there are other places here than Mountain Vista Campground, for example White
Heron Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Vista Campground a wet location; the month with most of the rain is May while February is generally the driest month.
Mountain Vista Campground is in close proximity to Delaware Water Gap National Recreation
Area which is a delightful place, and for you golfers we recommend close by Terra Golf Course. All the fine local attractions nearby and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast
number of things to offer. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Shawnee Mountain, and golf can be played at Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Newton Run is a great site to take a look at, and on a great
day you can take a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail. Pennsylvania is a great spot for outdoors folks.
That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Mountain Vista Campground has it all. Big Pocono State Park is both magnificent and wonderful, and it's near Mountain Vista
Campground, and hiking along the Kinney Trail is magnificent fun. This campground is so tremendous. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pocono Creek; Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is a glorious spot close by.
