There are fine tent sites here where you could pitch that tent; you can get bait and tackle here. There's such a vast number of things to do close to Moon Meadows, and it's always fun to be at this campground. 17 feet of yearly fluffy snow blankets the nearby ski area Peek N Peak having its 400 feet of elevation   difference. 10 good ski lifts serve the 27 ski runs at Peek N Peak. 105 acres of skiable area is offered to the skiers who gather at Peek N Peak in wintertime; 90% of the ski runs are green and blue while 10% are red and black.
