And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do right next door to Locust Campground. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Minehart Dam right next door to Locust Campground; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Vincent Tram Trail.
Whitewater paddling is nice on Elk Creek, and do take a hike on the Footbridge Trail.
