Lake Mocatek Campground is extremely popular with the folks in Greentown. The pleasant reception and lots of amusing stuff to do will make you feel good. At Lake Mocatek Campground you can catch a sight of Briar Hill; a visit to Tobyhanna State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. |
Such a good choice of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back over and over.
There's some flowing water nearby, Purdy Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and going for a hike on the Telephone Trail is always a splendid

There is a magnificent hiking trail near Lake Mocatek Campground called the West Branch Bruce Lake Trail, and a spree to Delaware National Scenic River is recommended. During the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lake Mocatek Campground, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Mocatek Campground temperatures dip to the 0's.
