  Lake Mocatek Campground is a very popular campground with the folks from Greentown. This is such a good campground. Do pop by Moc-a-Tek Lake in the neighborhood of Lake Mocatek Campground, it's a scenic lake, and nearby you stumble on the West Branch Bruce Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary, and a swamp like Finn Swamp in close proximity to Lake Mocatek Campground has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. This is such a charming campground. In case
    you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek, and a visit to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile.
A great deal of rain falls at Lake Mocatek Campground; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February
on the other hand is the driest. Some of the things you can do here at Lake Mocatek Campground are whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so perhaps you want to stay a bit.

Locklin Pond Dam is lovely and it's near Lake Mocatek Campground, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Mocatek Campground. Going for a hike on the White Deer Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch.
