There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of L&M Campground called the Roger Mountain Trail; glide down the rapids of Blacklick Creek in a kayak. At Elroy Face Dam close to L&M Campground there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Mahoning Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If you're going to L&M Campground from Penn     Run, you won't be the only one, and Cherrywood Golf Course is a golf course nearby. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to L&M Campground. Near L&M Campground you locate the Laurel Highlands Trail which is a good hiking trail, and as expected Laurel Run is a picturesque stream that is worth visiting. The Springs at Laurel Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. At L&M Campground during the summer highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to L&M Campground. L&M Campground gets much water; July is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Coming to this campground is always a splendid   idea. The Clark Run Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near L&M Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Blacklick Creek - South Branch.
