Knoebels Resort and Campground, Pennsylvania

| | we have been going to Knoebels for the last 8 years. We went there first with our 24 ft. travel trailer, than our 30 ft. travel trailer and now our motorhome. The campground and the amusement park are nice and clean. I have a golden retriever and she gets a charge out of walking through the amusement park with us. We have been camping for many years and I have to say that usually I don't care for campground bathrooms but Knoebels keeps theirs very clean. While it's a pain sometimes because there is no sewer or water hookup, we always have a great time |

there. My daughter who is now 13 started going on roller coasters there when she was 9 and now we can't keep her off of coasters where ever we go. I also like the fact that we can walk back and forth to our site. Sometimes when we go to amusement parks I really don't feel like
| | going on the rides, but I do because I had to pay to get in. At Knoebels you either buy tickets and go on the rides you want or sometimes they have a handstamp. If you don't want to go on rides, you can still walk around and enjoy the park without having to pay. I also like the fact that it is geared towards families. In the amusement park you can wear a bathing suit when you are on the water rides, but to walk around you have to wear clothes, you can't walk around in just your suit(guys and girls) and if your shirt says or shows anything offensive you | |

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hostler Trail, and Knoebels Resort and Campground is not the only
spot close by, Number One Reservoir is a close by lake. Places like Worlds End State Park are great to take a look at, and there's nice hiking along the Greenland Trail. This is a brilliant campground. Locust Lake State Park is a beautiful location any time of year; hiking is a
popular thing to do around Knoebels Resort and Campground; Horseshoe Trail is a perfect local trail. So many enjoyable things to do at Knoebels Resort and Campground, so little time.
