Says Pat Nelson Don't leave Kenshire Kampsite without popping by Leonard Harrison State Park, and don't leave Kenshire Kampsite without first going for a hike along the Big Spring Brook Trail. The First Switchback Trail offers hiking at its best, and Dewey Hollow is without doubt a tremendous spot to go to. Kenshire Kampsite is a campground rather often visited by the people of Gaines. At Kenshire Kampsite through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures     dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Kenshire Kampsite temperatures sink to the 10's. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen. You get a nice vista of Lick Run Hill from Kenshire Kampsite; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Lewis Run. This is such a pretty campground. There's whitewater on Pine Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and going for a hike on the Long Warrant Trail is always a great adventure. There's such a large number of things to do in the neighborhood of Kenshire Kampsite, and it is one of lots of great campgrounds in this neighborhood. This part of Pennsylvania has a great deal   of outdoors activities at your disposal. Got cabin fever from too much time indoors, Don't worry; Kenshire Kampsite in Pennsylvania is the outdoors at its most excellent. The friendly personnel and the loads of entertaining things to do beat anything. Several people choose this campground when going to Leonard Harrison State Park. There's tremendous hiking along the Chestnut Trail. There are great sites to discover along the Dewey Hollow Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Slate Run. Yeah, come here to Kenshire Kampsite for a wonderful time. You'll meet a lot of people from Gaines here, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Denton if you're here. This is such a good campground. A great location like Ole Bull State Park next to Kenshire Kampsite is too pleasant to leave out, and if you come at the right time of year, Cedar Run offers some good whitewater. Kenshire Kampsite gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Such a tremendous choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are splendid incentives to come.
