J&D Campground, Pennsylvania

| | A group of us have been going to J&D for 18 to 20 years. Over this time period they have made many improvements to the campground. Being just down the road from Knobles Amusement Park makes it a better location than the Knobles Camp Ground. J&D site are larger, cleaner and they maintain the sites. Kurt Jones takes special pride in his grass, so don't think about parking on it or setting up a tent. A few years ago he added sewer hook-ups and this has added to the appeal of the campground. would be. Usually it is just the opposite. The pool is old and a little small for the size of the campground. But we go back every year and always enjoy the stay. Says Joe Baker
There's a lot of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as whitewater paddling,
| swimming, fishing, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. All through the warmest time of the year at J&D Campground highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at J&D Campground through the winter usually fall into the 10's. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kitchen Creek, and a spree to Locust Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.

In Pennsylvania you never run out of outdoors cool stuff. The splendid local attractions and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently.
J&D Campground is a very
popular old favorite campground among folks from Catawissa. The personnel that controls this campground and the fantastically nicely run facilities are motive enough to come here. This campground is so pleasant. Get dripping wet paddling on Wapwallopen Creek; why not take a little
journey to Corn Run if you're here.
Whitewater paddling is splendid on Nescopeck Creek; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Catawissa. An average amount of rainfall falls at J&D Campground; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month
of the year is February.
So much entertaining stuff to do at J&D Campground, so little time. Worlds End State Park is a delightful place to stop by on a delightful day. Golf can be played at Windsor Heights Golf Course, and of course, this is a great vicinity for folks who
like lakes, Lake Glory is a lake in the neighborhood. J&D Campground is situated in a region with a lot of cool stuff to do, and it unquestionably is a great campground.
