| | This is the best campground I've ever been to. The owner is great and everyone is very friendly. There are camper areas, a huge field for tents, and also wilderness tent areas that are nestled into the woods. Each of the wooded tent areas is adjacent to a nice sized creek and contains a picnic table and fire pit. It has a pond for fishing and firewood available for purchase. Hideaway Campground including swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This campground is so splendid. You can run the rapids of Indian Creek in the vicinity of Hideaway Campground, and going for a hike along
| the Brant Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
While you're here at Hideaway Campground you can take a hike along the Mile Trail, and Stony Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jacobs Creek, and here at Hideaway Campground you can observe Jockey Knob. This is a popular location for people from Mill Run, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Darr Trail.

The great folks who run this place and the brilliant large amount of fun activities have loads of people coming here. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. On a good day at Hideaway Campground you can take a hike along the Wolf Rocks Trail; Youghiogheny River is a delightful whitewater spot close by.
