Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

always explore close by Lake Poco; there are plenty of folks from Portland here at Hickory Lake Campground. Hickory Lake Campground typically gets a good deal of rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February.

This campground is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hickory Lake Campground; Kinney Trail is a tremendous local trail.
