Happy Acres Resort, Pennsylvania   If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle-bustle of everyday living you have found it!!  Happy Acres Resort is located in the beautiful Pine Creek Valley and has 60 acres of sites built into a mountainside. Open year round we offer full service cabins, rental rooms, and all types of camping sites to meet everyone's needs!  Our full service restaurant is open daily with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus along with a general store and ice cream bar.  We are pet friendly and do allow pets in our cabins for a fee. Our pool is open from     Memorial Day to Labor Day and we have basketball and shuffleboard along with a large playground for the children.  Surrounded by state game lands, across the street from Little Pine State Park and only 4 miles from the Pine Creek Rail Trail there is plenty for the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy!! Check out our website for more information. Skiing at Ski Sawmill is one of those things you just should do, and drift down the rapids of Stony Fork Creek in a kayak. Going for a hike on the Pesto Trail is always a great adventure, and a good spot like Ole Bull State Park is too tremendous to leave out. There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Happy Acres Resort called the Naval Trail, and don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; Blackwell Swamp is right here at Happy Acres Resort. You'll wish for more hours in a day   to enjoy all the fun things at Happy Acres Resort. Parker Hollow is a magnificent spot to take a look at close by. Summertime at Happy Acres Resort comes with high temperatures in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Happy Acres Resort overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. On a tremendous day at Happy Acres Resort you can take a hike along the Spike Buck Trail; needless to say Boone Run is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at. This campground is so pleasant. Get covered with water paddling on Larrys Creek, and why not have a look at Little Pine Dam if you're here. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. Near Happy Acres Resort you locate the Wentzel Trail which is a great hiking trail, and the wonderful people of Waterville like to hang out close by. The yearly rain here at Happy Acres Resort is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Run, and don't leave without visiting Leonard Harrison State Park.
