| | Happy Acres Resort is now under new ownership and is open year round. Happy Acres is 50 acres of beautiful sites. We are currently in the process of renovations and want to share what we feel the future holds for our campground. Our objective is to have a gorgeous resort for people who want to have a safe peaceful family-oriented place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The wildlife is abundant the scenery is exquisite and the people are friendly. We have managers who live on the property. In the near future we will be building a new office |
and hope to open the pool with adjoining tennis and basketball courts. The restaurant and camp store is soon to reopen. Nearby is hiking biking snowmobiling ATV trails hunting fishing boating and much more!
There is a good hiking trail near Happy Acres Resort called the
| | Pesto Trail, and a wonderful place to visit close by is Parker Hollow. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Ski Sawmill, and the nice folks of Waterville like to hang out close by. This is such a fun location for a campground. When you're here at Happy Acres Resort it's always fun to stop at Ole Bull State Park, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Spike Buck Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Happy Acres Resort. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's | |

Wentzel Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by.
Be careful coming to Happy Acres Resort, you might not ever wanna return home again. Happy Acres Resort is in close proximity to Leonard Harrison State Park which is a striking place; if you like swamps you're in luck, Blackwell
Swamp is right close by. This campground is a delightful location to stop by. Larrys Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Naval Trail.
Paddling on Stony Fork Creek is so much fun, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Conner Trail.
