This campground is a picturesque place to visit. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Loyalsock Creek; hiking along the Trout Hill Trail is magnificent fun.

most, and the driest month is January. This is such a fun place for a campground. It's a great idea to check out Mill Creek, it's near Girl Scouts, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Schrader Creek. Among the things you can do near Girl Scouts are fishing,
whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.
Mt. Pisgah State Park is a splendid location to visit. The Jackson Trail offers hiking at its best; a delightful site is Dry Run Gorge.
Several folks stay at Girl Scouts for the purpose of being in the vicinity
of Worlds End State Park. Summertime at Girl Scouts comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts is a very well liked campground by folks from Hillsgrove.
