Near Gettysburg Campground you locate the Lippencot Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Owens Creek offers some good whitewater. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. The glorious selection of local attractions, and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come. Good hiking is available along the Pole Bridge Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Liberty.
