Forbes Trail Camp, Pennsylvania   Such a wonderful selection of attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Some activities here at Forbes Trail Camp are fishing, hiking, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tubmill Creek, and the peak of Shooters Hill can be spotted from Forbes Trail Camp. For you golfers we recommend close by Champion Lakes Golf Club, and hiking along the East End Trail is delightful fun. An average amount of precipitation falls at Forbes Trail Camp; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Have a good hiking adventure along the Spruce Run Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Ligonier here. Quite a lot of entertaining things to do near Forbes Trail Camp, and to be at this place is always fun. An afternoon playing golf at Laurel Valley Golf Club is always a delight, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Darr Trail. Hannas Run is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and close by you hit upon perfect locations like Lettie Shaffer Hollow. Now, you may assume that's   plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Forbes Trail Camp. What would winter be without some skiing at The Springs at Laurel Mountain, and Lake Tod is a brilliant lake nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Fourmile Run. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Get wet paddling on Loyalhanna Creek, and Forbes Trail Camp is right by the Brant Trail. This campground is so great. A golf course in the neighborhood of Forbes Trail Camp is Ridgeview Golf Course; do take a hike on the Wolf Rocks Trail. In Pennsylvania you never run out of outdoors entertaining things. Summertime highs at Forbes Trail Camp generally tend to be in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Forbes Trail Camp. You have to get out, and Forbes Trail Camp in Pennsylvania is such a great place.
