| | We really enjoyed our stay at Fantasy Island Campground. It is a beautiful campground on the Susquehanna river. There are hiking and biking trails at the state park next door. The campground itself is kept clean and the people are friendly. I will definately return. Says Robert
Fantasy Island Campground is an old favorite with folks of Northumberland. While stopping by this neighborhood in Pennsylvania it's a fine idea to go camping too. The annual rainfall here at Fantasy Island Campground is about average; during June this area sees the most rain; January |
is when it's the driest. The kind personnel and the huge amount of enjoyable stuff to do are relatively inspiring.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit White Deer Creek, and obviously West Branch Susquehanna River is a striking stream that is worth taking a look at. A journey
| to Worlds End State Park revitalizes the soul, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Lake Augusta is one of those close by.
This is a magnificent campground. There are great places to look at along the Minnich Hit Trail.
For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Fantasy Island Campground get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Blue Hill. Such a perfect pick of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back again and again. Just can't get enough of Fantasy Island Campground. There is a magnificent hiking trail next to Fantasy Island Campground called the Matter Trail;
the fine people of Northumberland like to hang out close by.
Sunny Hill Golf Course & Driving Range is a nice golf course nearby, and don't leave Fantasy Island Campground without first going for a hike along the Grimms Trail. There's a load of outdoors recreation available
close at hand such as hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
Quite a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Fantasy Island Campground; you always have a fine time when you're
here. Going for a hike on the Muncy Point Trail is always a wonderful adventure; since you're here you can play some golf at Kidd's Par 3 Golf Course.
