Take a side tour to Black Creek; there are wonderful places to discover along the Foxs Path. This campground is so brilliant. There's whitewater on Nescopeck Creek for   all you adrenaline rush seekers; don't leave Echo Valley Campground without first going for a hike along the Werts Path. Through the days of summer at Echo Valley Campground highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Echo Valley Campground. A great panorama of striking Red Mountain is available from Echo Valley Campground, and you can run the rapids of Black Creek. Tuscarora State Park is a charming place any time of year; why not take a refreshing hike along the Horseshoe Trail. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Echo Valley Campground. Locust Lake State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit; there's tremendous hiking along the Old Indian Trail. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Echo Valley Campground. You could also visit Sweet Arrow Lake while you're here at Echo Valley Campground; it's close by, also Black Creek Intake Dam is worth visiting since you're here. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Conewago Creek - East, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Valley Campground; Blue Blazed Trail is a delightful local trail. This is a brilliant campground. Gotta ski! Blue Marsh is a delightful location to do that, and at Echo Valley Campground you always meet someone from Tremont. From a rainfall point of view Echo Valley Campground is a quite common place; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February.
