Black Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; an out of the ordinary thing to visit in the neighborhood of Echo Valley Campground is Black Creek Intake   Dam. Have a great hiking adventure along the Blue Blazed Trail, and hiking along the Old Indian Trail is glorious fun. This is such a good campground. Echo Valley Campground is right by the Werts Path, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Conewago Creek - East. Throughout the months of summer here at Echo Valley Campground, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Echo Valley Campground through the wintertime mostly descend into the 10's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. While you're here at Echo Valley Campground you can take a hike along the Horseshoe Trail, and don't leave without going to Locust Lake State Park. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Foxs Path; there are plenty of people from Tremont here at Echo Valley Campground. Echo Valley Campground gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. This campground is so good. If you get bored of Echo Valley Campground, you could also explore close by Dell Lake, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a perfect vista of Red Mountain from Echo Valley Campground. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Blue Marsh; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Black Creek. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Echo Valley Campground. Nescopeck Creek is a splendid whitewater spot right next door to Echo Valley Campground; a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to nearby Tuscarora State Park.
