Deer Meadow Campground, Pennsylvania   Deer Meadow Campground is an old favorite with folks in Cooksburg. All the great local attractions in the neighborhood and the great variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently. The people who watch over the campground and the enormously satisfactorily operated facilities have folks coming from all over. Have a great hiking adventure along the Loleta Interpretive Trail, and there's whitewater on Deer Creek for all     you adrenaline junkies. Having a great time at Deer Meadow Campground is painless. The Oak Ridge Trail is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Deer Meadow Campground; a visit to Chapman State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. There's some flowing water close by, Toms Run is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and there are some great whitewater spots on East Branch Millstone Creek. The high level of rain makes Deer Meadow Campground a pretty wet site; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. A trip to Cook Forest State Park when you're here at Deer Meadow Campground is a glorious idea; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Hemlock Trail. Fitzgerald Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Deer Meadow Campground, and whitewater paddling   is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clarion River. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Deer Meadow Campground called the Pine Run Trail, and at Deer Meadow Campground you always meet someone from Cooksburg. There is so much amusing stuff to do near Deer Meadow Campground, and what a brilliant location for camping it is. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. You truly shouldn't spend too much time indoors; you need to get out of the house occasionally, and Deer Meadow Campground in Pennsylvania is a brilliant pick. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Deer Meadow Campground with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's while Deer Meadow Campground overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This is such a stunning campground. Going for a hike along the Wagon Box Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
