Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Carlisle Campground while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Carlisle Campground. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Conewago Creek - West, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Roundtop in close proximity. Carlisle Campground is a very well prized campground by visitors from Boiling Springs.
