You absolutely have to go for Blue Mountain Lakes. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Blue Mountain Lakes is Summer Hill, and
the Foxs Path is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. From a rainfall point of view Blue Mountain Lakes is a rather typical site; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest.
Don't leave Blue Mountain Lakes without popping by Tuscarora State Park, and there are some great whitewater spots on Nescopeck Creek.
