You can run the rapids of Nescopeck Creek right next door to Blue Mountain Lakes, and the Northkill Path is a glorious hiking trail close by. The helpful operators of the campground and the great facilities have people coming here. This is such a glorious campground. There's   whitewater on Black Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; close by you stumble on the Klines Path which is a good hiking trail. Among the things you can do near Blue Mountain Lakes are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Hawk Mountain Dam; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Foxs Path. This is such a beautiful campground. Locust Lake State Park is a good spot to go if you're at Blue Mountain Lakes, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Werts Path.
