Appenzell Creek is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, and do take a hike on the Lakeside Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Arrowhead Campground. A trip to Tobyhanna State Park when you're here at Arrowhead Campground is a great idea, and going for a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail will let you absorb |
the natural beauty of this region.
In Pennsylvania you never run out of outdoors fun things. Hey, you've been cooped up too long, time has come to get out, and Arrowhead Campground in Pennsylvania is the outdoors at its greatest. The welcoming folks working here and all the
| delightful passtime activities are reason enough to come here.
Summertime at Arrowhead Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Arrowhead Campground night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This campground is so tremendous. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Sciota here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Arrowhead Campground; Indian Trail is a magnificent local trail. makes Arrowhead Campground a wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. A round of golf at nearby Evergreen Golf Club is a splendid way to kill
some time, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Big Pocono State Park. Skiing at Camelback is one of those things you just have to do, and hiking along the Burley Inlet Trail is delightful fun. This campground has so much fun stuff to offer.
There's
more to do in the neighborhood of Arrowhead Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, fishing, and playing golf, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Terra Golf Course,
and if you come at the right time of year, Paradise Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If time allows, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth stopping at; you'll hit upon a lovely lake called Laurel Lake.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody
but if it's for you then we recommend Brodhead Creek; do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River since you're here at Arrowhead Campground. This is a tremendous campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pocono Creek, and from Arrowhead Campground you obtain a nice view
of Crystal Hill. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Great Bear Golf and Country Club; why not take a refreshing hike along the Camelback Trail.
Arrowhead Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks in Sciota. A number of folks select Arrowhead Campground to pop by close by Big Pocono State Park.
