You can run the rapids of Wilson River next to Wright's For Camping, and if you want to hit the beach, Chapman Beach is close at hand. This part of Oregon has a good deal of outdoors activities offered.

The high level of precipitation makes Wright's For Camping a rather wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. A lot of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being close to Chapman Beach.
