| | Several folks stay at this campground during their journey to Pilot Butte State Park. Whitefish is a top choice with folks of Bend. This is such a fun site for a campground. North Unit Diversion Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and near Whitefish you locate a golf course called Orion Golf Course. A fine place like Pilot Butte State Park near Whitefish is too great to leave out; a lake nearby is Mirror Pond.

Get soaked paddling on Deschutes River, and River's Edge Golf Course is a golf course close by. Through the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Whitefish with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs
| down to the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Whitefish temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Near Whitefish you come across the Swampy Lakes Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and at Whitefish you can see Pilot Butte. At Whitefish you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while July is commonly the driest month. There is so much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Whitefish, and it is a brilliant campground.

The Paulina Peak Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Whitefish, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Bachelor. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in close
proximity to Whitefish. Going to Tumalo State Park in the neighborhood of Whitefish is a perfect thing to do; if you're here you can play some golf at Lost Tracks Golf Club.
