Kimball State Park which is a lovely place. This camp ground is situated in the gorgeous Southern Cascade Range. Scores of folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being close to Collier Memorial State Park. Summertime at Water wheel Campground comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Water wheel Campground. A tour to Lava Beds National Monument is recommended, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Rocky Point   Trail. Water wheel Campground is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is commonly the driest month.
