Alsea River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Horse Creek Trail.

area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
This campground is so delightful. An attention-grabbing thing to go to right next door to Waldport - Newport Koa is Lint Slough Dam; a golf course nearby is Crestview Hills Golf Course.
Eckman Creek flows through this
vicinity. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as swimming, playing golf, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a good time. You are next to
Shepards Point if you're here at Waldport - Newport Koa, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Drift Creek.
