| | At last, camping season is here again, and Tumalo State Park is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. There is so much entertaining stuff to do close to Tumalo State Park, and it is a pleasant campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Bachelor; for you golfers we recommend close by Lost Tracks Golf Club.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. If you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is River's Edge Golf Course, and when you're here it's always fun to explore Pilot Butte |
State Park. Not much precipitation falls here at Tumalo State Park; the month with most of the snow is December while July is generally the driest month.
Golf can be played at Orion Golf Course; Tumalo State Park is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. A campground like
| this is too good to miss. North Unit Diversion Dam is not far at all from Tumalo State Park; if you're stopping by from Bend, you won't be the only one. You could also stop at Mirror Pond if you're here at Tumalo State Park; it's close by, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Deschutes River.
Don't leave Tumalo State Park without first going for a hike along the Swampy Lakes Trail. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are good causes to come. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available | |

around here such as whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, playing golf, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
A lot of folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being next to Pilot Butte State Park.
The pleasant reception and all
the entertaining stuff are rather striking. It's not possible to get bored in Oregon if you have a thing about the outdoors. Tumalo State Park is extremely popular with the folks from Bend.
Through the warm days of summer at Tumalo State Park temperatures are usually in the
80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's while Tumalo State Park night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
