Timber River Park is a relatively wet place usually with a lot of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. It's not possible to run out of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Timber River Park; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a magnificent location to do that. Timber River Park is a very popular campground among visitors from Idleyld Park. At this campground you will always have a great time. Summertime at Timber River Park comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Timber River   Park temperatures drop to the 30's. Camping out sure is a pleasant thing to do, and Timber River Park is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. The perfect pick of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. This campground is a pretty place to go to. Get drenched paddling on Rock Creek; if you're here you can take a hike along the Rock Creek Trail. The magnificent people who manage this location and a great variety of entertaining stuff have scores of folks coming here. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too fine to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some tremendous whitewater, and the Straight Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This segment of Oregon is always a delight to stop at all through camping season. Soar down the rapids of Umpqua River - North in a kayak, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by McCaffery Pond.
