Don't leave The Village Green without visiting Shore Acres State Park, and the sight of The Buttes is picturesque. The Village Green is a campground that is enormously liked by folks from Coos Bay.

There's so much stuff to do near The Village Green, and it is a delightful escape from the mundane.
The Village Green is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful
coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to go home again. Coos Country Club is a golf course right next door to The Village Green, and a wonderful location close by is Boatman Gulch. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things right next door to The Village Green.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Upper Pony Creek Reservoir, and Coos River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot close by.
Lots of folks stay at The Village Green to be close to North Beach. The Village Green is a splendid
camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Coast Ranges.
Camping in Oregon is such an enjoyable thing to do. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a tremendous time. Sunset Bay State Park is a perfect location to go if you're at The Village Green, and why not a little side journey to Coalbank Creek.
