Taylor Park is actually a private park. It is not open to the general public. Members pay an annual fee for this facility. Gates are locked and you must have a key card to gain access. The waiting list to obtain a campsite in this park can be as long as 4 years and you MUST be recommended by a current member in good standing. Says Jerry

A number of folks pick Taylor Park for the purpose of being close to North Santiam State Park. Taylor Park is
 
    an old favorite with campers from Lyons. Alright, it's time you went on a camping trip, don't you think? Taylor Park in Oregon is a perfect choice.
It's impossible to get bored in Oregon if you love the outdoors.
The personnel
 that controls this campground and all the amusing stuff beat anything. Taylor Park is situated in the Central Cascade Range. Such a wonderful pick of attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are delightful reasons to come.
Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the cool stuff you can do is playing golf, whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so perhaps you want to stay a bit. Thomas Creek has a pleasant 9.6-mile-from-start-to-finish
 
    grade II whitewater stretch nearby, the Log Bridge to Hannah Bridge portion. This portion of Thomas Creek is suitable for paddlers who haven't been kayak paddling for so long. Don't overlook to check conditions before heading out
  kayak paddling to ensure your wellbeing. A beautiful trail in close proximity is Snow Peak Mill City Trail; it's 3.2 miles long and has an elevation variation of 1,142 feet. Something like three hours is something like the magnitude of time you must have to walk the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, an average trail. Great backcountry backpacking awaits you on the close at hand Crabtree Lake Trail; this backpacking trail has a variation in height of 491 feet and is 2 miles long.
