This is such a gorgeous campground. There are some great whitewater spots on Siuslaw River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Surfwood Campground; Threemile Lake Trail is a nice local trail. Get your camping stuff packed and
| leave the city behind; Surfwood Campground in Oregon is exactly the site. The pleasant local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are nice motives to come.
Surfwood Campground usually gets lots of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Coast Ranges is excellent! There's some flowing water nearby, Silver Creek is a stream you can stop by while here, and nearby you hit upon Ork Reef which is a magnificent site to go to.

Several folks choose this campground in order to be close to Umpqua Lighthouse State Park. If you
come at the right time of year, Coos River - South Fork offers some perfect whitewater, and as expected, everybody loves William M. Tugman State Park. At Surfwood Campground through the warm months highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the
period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Surfwood Campground night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
