Sunstrip - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   There's more to do in the vicinity of Sunstrip other than just hanging out such as hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so it's just not possible to get bored. There is a glorious hiking trail near Sunstrip called the Fanton Plaza Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Roslyn Lake. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Sandy River is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Sunstrip; you can go for a hike on the Cold Spring Trail. This campground is so perfect. You     can run the rapids of Bull Run next to Sunstrip. The personnel that manages this campground and the perfectly taken care of facilities are a fine draw for scores of folks. Sunstrip is a magnificent camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Cascade Range. Places like Crown Point State Park are great to stop at, and the friendly folks of Sandy like to hang out close by. The surroundings of this campground have such an incredible array of things to offer. A quick spree to Bowman Creek close to Sunstrip is a pleasant idea; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff. Some folks camp here to be near George W. Joseph State Park. Sunstrip is a campground prized by folks from Sandy. So many exciting things to do at Sunstrip, so little time. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Firwood Veneer   Corporation Dam in the neighborhood of Sunstrip; nearby you find the Old Baldy Trail which is a good hiking trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Dry Ridge Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and George W. Joseph State Park is a striking location any time of year. Such a fine selection of attractions and such an incredible array of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. Quite a lot of exciting things to do in the vicinity of Sunstrip, and spending time at this campground is exceptionally enjoyable. Sunstrip sees pretty high levels of rain; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July. Oregon is a brilliant spot for campers. All through the summertime months highs here at Sunstrip get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Sunstrip. You need to get out, and Sunstrip in Oregon is a brilliant selection.
