Some close by water includes Bowman Creek. This camp ground is one of the perfect sites to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. At Sunstrip cool stuff   to do is abundant, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a great place to do that. At Sunstrip through the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Sunstrip. This is beyond doubt a glorious campground. Sunstrip is near Crown Point State Park which is a wonderful site, and nearby you discover the Dry Ridge Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff. A great deal of precipitation falls at Sunstrip; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. The tremendous variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do are tremendous reasons to come. Sunstrip is a very popular campground with folks of Sandy.
