This campground is a tremendous site for boating. Squaw Lakes is enormously well prized by the people of Jacksonville. Going for a hike outclasses anything;       the 8.8-mile-from-beginning-to-end Horse Camp Trail is close at hand; it has a difference in altitude of 4,091 feet. You must set aside one and a half days to hike the hard Horse Camp Trail. Squaw Peak is beautiful and can be observed   from Squaw Lakes, and everyone loves an enjoyable trip to nearby Glory Road R C Speedway. Just can't get enough of the Siskiyou Mountains. Going to Klamath National Forest near Squaw Lakes is a fine thing to do, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Ashland. At this campground you will always have a great time.
