During the long summer days here at Scout Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Scout Lake. Around Scout Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. A spree to Pilot Butte State Park rejuvenates the spirit, and North Unit Diversion Dam is a delightful place.

a bliss. Tumalo State Park is a good spot to go if you're at Scout Lake, and golf can be played at River's Edge Golf Course.
A golf course next to Scout Lake is Widgi Creek Golf Club. Do go to Mirror Pond next to Scout Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and the snow is splendid at Mt. Bachelor.
