The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Sand Creek Station; all through summer nights temperatures are in
the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Sand Creek Station through the winter mostly fall into the 10's. Take a hike on the Pelican Butte Trail, and there's whitewater on Klamath River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Some
folks stay at Sand Creek Station so they can go to Collier Memorial State Park.
This campground is a glorious site to pop by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Pass Lake Trail; you obtain a wonderful sight of Steiger Butte from here. You'll beyond doubt wish for
more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. Take a side tour to Sprague River; Jackson F. Kimball State Park is worth going to.
Sand Creek Station is a delightful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Southern Cascade Range.
