Sand Creek Station, Southern Cascade Range, Oregon   A visit to Oregon is not complete without some camping. Going for a hike along the South Pass Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; the sight of Steiger Butte is picturesque. At this campground you will always have a tremendous time. Sand Creek Station is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while July is usually the driest month. Sand Creek Station is a glorious camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Southern Cascade Range. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Southern Cascade Range. On a great day at Sand Creek Station you can take a hike along the Nannie Creek Trail, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Chiloquin for sure. Summertime highs at Sand Creek Station generally tend to be in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Sand Creek Station nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
