Roaring River - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   There are so many fun things to do in the vicinity of Roaring River, and when you have had the opportunity to enjoy this campground you will feel like another person. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always scenic. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground is so perfect. There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Roaring River called the Fanton Plaza Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to have a look     at George W. Joseph State Park. With such a vast number of things to do in Oregon you'll never get bored. Much rain falls at Roaring River; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. A campground like this is too perfect to miss. At Roaring River you always meet someone from Sandy. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Crown Point State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and get soaked paddling on Sandy River. Near Roaring River you discover the Old Baldy Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is a spot that is right next door to Roaring River. Go for a hike on the Cold Spring Trail; some nearby water includes Bowman Creek. All the smiling folks and the abundance   of enjoyable things to do beat anything. The tremendous local attractions and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back over and over. High temperatures at Roaring River during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while Roaring River overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Roaring River will keep you coming back time and again. The Eagle Creek Cutoff is a good hiking trail close to Roaring River; whitewater paddling is brilliant on Bull Run. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Dry Ridge Trail is always a great adventure; Roslyn Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Pack your camping stuff and head for the campground; Roaring River, Oregon is a nice place for getting out. Loads of people choose Roaring River so they can go to George W. Joseph State Park.
