| | Roaring River is a campground reasonably frequently visited by people of Sandy. Some of the things you can do here at Roaring River are swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so probably you want to stick around. This section of Oregon has a pleasant deal of outdoors activities on hand. This campground is so glorious. Going for a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff is always a great adventure, and sites like Crown Point State Park are fine to pop by. and not far from Roaring River you get some brilliant water scenery at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam. Scores of people stay at this campground to visit close by George W. Joseph State Park. Through the summer at Roaring River temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Throughout
| the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 40's while Roaring River overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. At Roaring River exciting stuff to do is bountiful; to be at this campground is pleasant fun any time. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Sandy River in a kayak, and don't leave Roaring River without first going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail. A campground like this is too glorious to miss. | |

Get soaked paddling on Bull Run. Go for a hike on the Old Baldy Trail, and Roaring River is a site with many visitors from Sandy. All the outdoors fun things near Roaring River will keep you coming back repeatedly. Good hiking is available along the Cold Spring Trail. Lakes
are splendid; Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir is a lake that's near Roaring River. The caring operators of the campground and the glorious large number of fun activities are in themselves incentive enough to come here. This camp ground is positioned in the charming Central
Cascade Range. And if that's not enough there's loads more fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. There are good sites to look at along the Fanton Plaza Trail; George W. Joseph State Park is a brilliant location to stretch your legs a bit. The splendid selection of local
attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Finally, the time to go camping is here again; Roaring River in Oregon is such a pleasant spot. Roaring River is a relatively wet place regularly with lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
