Com Also, we are currently in-process of an 11-mile hiking trail from Garrison to Deer Lodge, MT, which would begin here at the park. We have put in for a grant, and are hoping to get this going soon. We also have lots of tent sites and 2 small cabins. Whitewater paddling is great on Grave Creek, and swing by Little Savage Creek it's a great place to take a look at. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more entertaining     stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Cold Springs Reservoir is in close proximity to Riverfront Trailer Park, and paddling on Umpqua River - South is so much fun. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. On a beautiful day you acquire a vista of Fielder Mountain from Riverfront Trailer Park, and what would a site like Riverfront Trailer Park be without exciting close by marks like Big Bald Spot. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Riverfront Trailer Park. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River, also Savage Rapids Dam is worth going to since you're here. Throughout the long summer days here at Riverfront Trailer Park, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Summer overnight   lows drop down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Riverfront Trailer Park are in the 30's. Everybody loves Valley of the Rogue State Park; if time allows, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. The wonderful people of Rogue River like to hang out close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Kerby Peak Trail.
