Riley - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   It's really unhealthy to be inside all the time; you've gotta get out occasionally, and Riley in Oregon is a good choice. So much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Riley, absolutely unbelievable. George W. Joseph State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit, and as expected Bowman Creek flows through this region. Several folks choose Riley for the purpose of being in the vicinity of George W. Joseph State Park. This campground is a great place to check out. If you come at the right time of year, Bull Run offers some delightful whitewater;     the Dry Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. So many fun things in the Central Cascade Range, just incredible. Do stop by Roslyn Lake in close proximity to Riley, it's a stunning lake, and Riley is right by the Cold Spring Trail. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Don't leave Riley without first going for a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff. Places like Crown Point State Park are brilliant to have a look at, and there's wonderful hiking along the Fanton Plaza Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Riley reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Riley dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. All the perfect local attractions in the neighborhood and such a vast number of things to do are guaranteed   to keep you coming back repeatedly. The friendly environment and the well operated operations have people coming from far and near. Riley is prized by the residents of Sandy. Riley is a quite wet place mostly with a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River, and you don’t have to go far from Riley to see the water at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Riley; Old Baldy Trail is a great local trail, and if you're visiting from Sandy, you won't be the only one. Riley is located in a region with a lot of entertaining stuff to do, and it is a very good campground. This camp ground is one of the delightful places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. There's such a vast number of things to do at Riley including hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
