| | A lot of people opt for this campground to be right next door to George W. Joseph State Park. This campground is so nice. Going for a hike on the Old Baldy Trail is always a splendid adventure. There's more to do near Raab other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. Raab is an old favorite with the people of Sandy. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Raab. During your journey to Raab you'll meet some folks from Sandy for sure; get your pulse rate up on the pleasant |
whitewater of Sandy River. A lake nearby is Roslyn Lake, and close by you hit upon the Fanton Plaza Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. All through the days of summer at Raab temperatures
| are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Raab are in the 30's. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Crown Point State Park is a good place; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Eagle Creek Cutoff. too. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and don't leave Raab without first going for a hike along the Cold Spring Trail. Hey, it's been too long since you went outside,
it's time to go camping, and Raab in Oregon is a pleasant selection. George W. Joseph State Park is a perfect site to visit, and a quick trip to Bowman Creek is undeniably a great idea. There's so many things to do near Raab, and when you have spent some time here you will
feel like a whole new person. Raab gets much water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. There are good places to explore along the Dry Ridge Trail; there's whitewater on Bull Run for all you adrenaline junkies.
