Pine Point - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon Custom Search   Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pine Point. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Pine Point temperatures sink to the 30's. There's more to do near Pine Point other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. Pine Point is in close proximity to Crown Point State Park which is a beautiful place, and there are glorious locations to explore along     the Fanton Plaza Trail. Pine Point is located in an area with scores of cool stuff to do, and a lot of people love to come here to escape. The pleasant pick of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Old Baldy Trail, and you without doubt have to stop by George W. Joseph State Park if you're here. This segment of Oregon is always a bliss to pop by through camping season. Having a fine time in the Central Cascade Range is painless. There are some fine whitewater spots on Bull Run, and not far from Pine Point you'll locate Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir which is a striking lake. Pine Point sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July   is the month with the least moisture. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. At Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam close to Pine Point there are some out of the ordinary things to see; unsurprisingly Bowman Creek is a striking stream that is worth going to. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. There's tremendous hiking along the Cold Spring Trail. Pack your camping stuff and head out on the road; Pine Point in Oregon is exactly the place. Pine Point is an old favorite with the folks of Sandy. Pine Point is one of the spots to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. The smiling people of Sandy like to hang out nearby, and going for a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff is always a fine adventure. The kind surroundings and all the cool stuff to do have people coming from far and near. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River, and don't leave Pine Point without first going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail.
