Pine Point; Old Baldy Trail is a perfect local trail. The high level of rain makes Pine Point a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is December; July is when it's the driest. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true.
| Take a hike on the Cold Spring Trail; a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Sandy River. How long has it been since you went camping? Pine Point is a fine local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. Many people stay at this campground during their trip to George W. Joseph State Park. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Pine Point, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Pine Point.
