| | This is such a fun place for a campground. Here at Oregon Dunes Koa there are plenty of people from North Bend, and get soaked paddling on Coquille River - South Fork. A lot of folks camp here when going to William M. Tugman State Park. Get your camping stuff packed and head out on the road; Oregon Dunes Koa is a good local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. Koa is a very well loved campground by folks in North Bend. The magnificent variety of local attractions and the magnificent variety of outdoors recreation are brilliant reasons to come. For you golfers we recommend nearby Kentuck Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is good on
| Millicoma River - West Fork. Oregon Dunes Koa is a rather wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. All the merry people and the great great quantity of fun activities makes the spree here worthwhile. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. | |

Paddling on Coos River - South Fork is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Threemile Lake Trail. Oregon is a good place for outdoors people. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Oregon Dunes Koa; the night is a bit cooler of course,
regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Oregon Dunes Koa. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area right next door to Oregon Dunes Koa has to offer. Umpqua Lighthouse State Park is a glorious spot.
