Oregon Dunes Koa is a rather wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. All the merry people and the great great quantity of fun activities makes the spree here worthwhile. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Coast Ranges.   Paddling on Coos River - South Fork is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Threemile Lake Trail. Oregon is a good place for outdoors people. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Oregon Dunes Koa; the night is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Oregon Dunes Koa.
